Příběh vypráví o chlapci jménem Negiši Soiči. Je to velice plachý a citlivý mladík, který jede do Tokia na vysokou školu hlavně kvůli tomu, aby si splnil svůj sen založit popovou skupinu. Jeho sen mu ale nevydělává žádné peníze, takže nakonec skončí u Death-metalové skupiny DMC (Detroit metal city), jako zpěvák Krauser (pekelný terorista), který údajně zabil své rodiče a poté je ještě znásilnil. Negišimu se ve skupině samozřejmě nelíbí a chce odejít, ale nedaří se mu to. Jeho druhá osobnost (Krauser) se čím dál tím víc projevuje i v normálním životě mimo jeviště i když on to sám nechce. Snaží se tedy alespoň svou účast ve skupině zatajit před rodiči, ale čím je DMC slavnější, tím je to obtížnější. 
Toto anime je opravdu úžasné. Pro anime-fandy super anime, pro metalisty (jako já) je to naprostá bomba. Super songy, sranda, žádné nudné scény. Jakmila se začnete dívat, zkouknete až do konce. Anime ale obsahuje spousta vulgárních slov a násilí, tak proto ten věk.
